Contact
Use the public contact inbox for calculator feedback, correction notes, and non-urgent site questions.
Current contact status
The production domain is registered. The public support address should be configured before the production launch.
- Planned public support email: support@homecostcalculators.com
- Do not send sensitive personal, financial, legal, insurance, or project-site information through the MVP contact path.
Useful feedback
The most useful feedback during the light test is about whether the calculator helped prepare a realistic budget conversation.
- Which calculator you used.
- Which input was confusing.
- Whether the formula explanation was clear enough.
- Which exclusions or professional warnings should be more visible.
What not to send
This site cannot review project photos, evaluate contractor bids, interpret permits, handle insurance claims, or recommend whether a project is safe.
- No quote requests.
- No contractor matching requests.
- No insurance claim documents.
- No urgent repair or safety issues.
Before hiring
Use the calculators as a starting point, then compare local written estimates from qualified professionals.
- Ask each contractor to list materials, labor, permit assumptions, removal/disposal, and exclusions.
- Compare scope line by line rather than only comparing the total price.
- Confirm licensing, insurance, warranty, payment schedule, and local permit responsibilities.
For project pricing decisions, use the calculators as a starting point and compare written local estimates before hiring.
Start with a calculator
Each calculator page explains its inputs, estimate range, formula, exclusions, and professional boundary.
